This is interesting. I don't really have any big issues with performance. SlimTimer is usually pretty fast for me, even at reporting, but it sometimes slows down and gives me the report after a couple of seconds. Maybe I am working between peak hours for SlimTimer users...
I would like to point out that this idea is very similiar to: "Provide a page to edit tags".
It would be great to be able to multi-edit a tag such as "billable" for all entries and change it to "billed" when the invoices are away. And then when the payments starts coming it would be just as great to change "billed" to "paid"!
I feel that this would be a great addition too. Just to be able to multi-edit the tag billable to billed (and then to paid) when the invoices have been sent would be of great help.

Is it ajax calls that slows it down or is it the code that could be more optimized?
